We had the pleasure of visiting here, and our information is based on our personal experiences We took some photos of this location that we'd like to share with you  

Ickworth An amazing Italianate structure topped by a massive rotunda, built for the 4th Earl of Bristol in 1795. It was to house the earl's art treasures, but they were seized by Napoleon and the Earl died (and his body was shipped home from Italy in a coffin labelled "antique sculpture").

 Kentwell Hall
  

Kentwell Hall Superlative moated Tudor manor, built in the early 16th century by the Clopton family. Kentwell has some fine Tudor brickwork, and the interior has been much restored, including a working Tudor kitchen and Hall with minstrels gallery. Featured in the gardens and grounds are a Tudor Rose pavement maze, topiary, and a Camera Obscura. Kentwell hosts a regular programme of historical Tudor and 1940's ReCreations throughout the year.

 Otley Hall
  

Otley Hall is a 15th century moated manor house set in 10 acres of parks and gardens. The house is an excellent example of late medieval architecture, with a profusion of chimneys, and a multi-leveled tiled roof. The gardens at Otley are worth a visit; among other features, they boast a croquet lawn, canal, nutteries, a rose garden and a moat walk.

 Somerleyton Hall and Gardens
  

Somerleyton Hall and Gardens One of the premier stately homes in East Anglia, Somerleyton is an early Victorian mansion built upon the foundations of a 13th century house. The house is built around three sides of a courtyard, approached through the gardens. The entrance is an imposing three-storied structure in Elizabethan style which overlooks the gardens. Within, the oaken staircase is lined with coats of arms from the 14 families who have owned Somerleyton from the 13th century.
