 Bayard's Cove Fort
  

A very small gun fort, built during Tudor times to defend the entrance to Dartmouth harbour. The fort was built by the Dartmouth Corporation around the year 1510.

 Branscombe Manor Mill
  

A collection of historic buildings in a lovely village setting, including a restored working mill, bakery, and forge. The forge is the only thatched forge in England, and sells iron articles made on the premises. The Old Bakery features open fires and historic baking equipment.

Clovelly This utterly charming and much-photographed fishing village is built onto cobbled streets so steep that for many years donkeys were the only form of access. Attractions abound within the village.

 Exeter Guildhall
  

The Exter Guildhall claims to hold the distinction of being the oldest municipal building in England still in continuous use. A Guildhall existed on this site since the mid 12th century, but the prsent building is almost entirely a product of the late 15th century. The building is entered through a massive oaken door, carved by a local joiner in 1592.
