The most popular and most highly visited of the many spectacular waterfalls in the Lake District is Aira Force, on the northern shore of Ullswater between Watermillock and Glenridding. |
A short walk above Hartsop, at the southern end of Ullswater, brings you to the small waterfall of Angletarn Beck. |
Just below the waterfall on Angletarn Beck the path crosses a small footbridge before it drops down to the valley floor once more. Its a lovely walk, and one that doesn't get many visitors, so you may have the view to yourself! |
