St. Catherine's College, Cambridge University
St. Catherine's was founded as St. Catherine's Hall in 1473 by Robert Wodelarke, Provost of King's College. It originally served as little more than a personal chantry chepel, with the Fellows obliged to celebrate masses and pray for the founder's soul regularly. The college underwent a major rebuilding program in the late 17th century, and the current chapel was only completed in 1704. ST. CATHERINE'S CHAPEL
The Chapel is open every day, though services are not generally open to visitors.
